Easy to get started

Reliable for campaigns

I've been using ReferralCandy for a while now, switched over from Smile.io last year. This time around I set up a new campaign using their Post-Purchase Popups and it's been consistent. The Referral Tracking Software is still very accurate, just like with my previous campaigns. I appreciate that I don't have to constantly check if referrals are being counted correctly. Good features, could be faster

I signed up for the 30-day free trial of the ReferralCandy Shopify App to test it out. Setting up the basics was pretty straightforward, and the Referral Program Automation feature worked as described for our initial campaign. However, I noticed some of the analytics reporting took a bit longer to load than I expected, especially when pulling larger date ranges. Customer support was helpful when I had a question about integrating with Klaviyo, they got back to me within a day. Overall, it's a solid tool for the price, but there's room for optimizing the dashboard speed.

I did! For me, RC was way more intuitive to get going. Smile felt a bit clunkier. RC's fraud detection also seemed a bit more robust, but that's just my personal take.

I haven't used Smile, but RC was super easy to set up. I was up and running with a basic program in less than an hour. Their support docs are pretty good too if you get stuck.

Nah, they don't take a cut of your sales. It's just the subscription fee. That was a big plus for me when I was comparing it to other platforms.

Most of the time it's during signup or in the billing section once you're in. But honestly, a lot of people just use a referral link which often bakes in a longer trial or discount automatically.
